I grew up—and still live—on Long Island, a place that has always inspired my love for photography. Since my teenage years, I've been drawn to capturing the beauty around me. Long Island is rich with natural wonders: ocean shores, dense forests, tranquil ponds, winding rivers, and wide open spaces. I believe that nature is one of God's greatest gifts—a living painting, a sculpture, a masterpiece freely given to us. I’m constantly inspired by the beauty of His creation, and I hope to reflect that in my work. I visit the Nature Conservatory where these silos are located often. The day I took this photo I was exploring the park from a different spot. I was walking to the entrance so I could photograph the road leading into the conservatory fields. As I was walking I noticed part of the silos appearing above the trees. You can not see the complete silos due to the height of the trees.
